„Popoarele care nu sunt bine conduse pier încet”
Profesorul Ioan-Aurel Pop, preşedintele Academiei Române, este un
cărturar român care-şi iubeşte ţara, conştient de tarele acesteia, dar
mai ales de valorile ei. Este românul care vorbeşte cu durere despre
trădările şi vânzările la care am fost şi suntem supuşi, care înţelege
perfect profunzimile şi potenţialul extraordinar al neamului românesc.
El face o radiografie extrem de precisă a situaţiei naţiunii române, la
o sută de ani de la Marea Unire. Nu mai suntem uniţi între noi pentru că
nu ne mai iubim şi nu mai avem încredere în neamul nostru, și asta nu
numai din pricina globalizării induse de noile tehnologii mediatice, ci
mai ales din pricină că, atât din afară, cât şi din interior, s-a luptat
ca noi să devenim „un aluat moale”, uşor de modelat de cei ce ar vrea ca
românii să piară de pe acest pământ.
Domnia sa este cât se poate de tranşant atunci când spune: Aparent,
Centenarul ne găsește bine, pentru că existăm într-o țară aproape la fel
de întinsă ca Marea Britanie; pentru că suntem membri ai UE și NATO,
adică facem parte din clubul selecților și nu din „blocul comunist”, cum
se întâmpla acum trei decenii; pentru că trăim, respirăm, călătorim (cel
puțin o parte dintre noi), în vreme ce alte neamuri au dispărut din
lume, s-au topit în alte popoare etc. Înaintașii de acum 100 de ani și
de mai înainte au trăit o apoteoză a unirii, au avut o obsesie a unirii
și au avut conștiința că făuresc o Românie nouă pentru eternitate. Noi
ne-am cam blazat și credem că toate ni se cuvin fără eforturi mari.
Romanii, din care ne tragem, cel puțin în parte, aveau o vorbă: Nihil
homini natura sine magno labore dat, adică „Natura nu dă nimic omului
fără mare stăruință”.
O țară și o națiune nu se fac o dată pentru totdeauna, ci se construiesc
și se primenesc mereu.
Poate că suntem mai uniți decât acum un secol, dar adesea doar prin
declarații bombastice, uitând de unirea cotidiană, de binele zilnic pe
care se cuvine să-l facem în numele unirii, de credință, de adevăr și de
dreptate.
Mulți dintre noi, în loc să facem binele aici, la noi, prin
profesionalism, prin zbateri continue, prin luptă, ne ducem pe alte
meridiane și ne punem experiența în slujba altor „uniri” și a altor
„patrii”.
În concluzie, Centenarul nu ne găsește așezați și mulțumiți și nici țara
nu o găsește întreagă, așa cum au făcut-o liderii luminați în 1918…
„Identitatea popoarelor – o realitate foarte puternică astăzi”
De mii de ani trăiesc oameni la Dunăre și la Carpați, pe Olt și pe
Mureș, pe Siret și pe Nistru, și asemenea oameni, chiar dacă s-au
perindat mereu, nu au lăsat vreodată acest pământ nelocuit și
nechivernisit.
De peste o mie de ani, românii s-au aflat, alături de alții, între
truditorii gliei de pe aceste locuri. Nu este de prisos să le cunoaștem
originile, taina limbii vorbite, credințele, dorurile și jalea,
nuntirile și prohodurile, trecerile și petrecerile.
Simplu spus, identitatea românească este felul de a te simți român, iar
această simțire vine prin limbă, credință, origine, nume, tradiție,
obicei, strai, pământ și cer etc. Avem nevoie de identitate națională ca
să nu fim ai nimănui.
La unele popoare, naționalitatea se confundă cu cetățenia și nu te poți
bucura de nimic pe lumea asta dacă nu ai identitate națională.
Toate popoarele se raportează la identitatea lor, iar unele o fac chiar
în mod ostentativ, atrăgându-ți atenția că ele există, că au un mesaj de
dat lumii, că nu se lasă în voia sorții. Americanii se laudă de multe
ori că ei sunt universaliști și nu naționaliști. Este însă de ajuns să
vezi anumite manifestări ale vieții cotidiene și să te convingi de
contrariu.
„A respinge țara înseamnă a te respinge pe tine”
„Satul global”, despre care scria McLuhan, ne-a apropiat, dar ne-a și
îndepărtat unii de alții în același timp. Suntem mai vecini și mai
străini concomitent, mai aproape și mai departe… Ne ducem să ne vedem
rudele și prietenii în Australia sau în America, dar nu ne vedem cu
vecinii de scară și nu vorbim cu colegii de grupă. Sau vorbim – dar pe
net, prin Facebook!
Românii sunt și ei prinși în acest vârtej.
Generația mea, care a prins și alte vremuri, încearcă să redeștepte
anumite cutume, anumite valori ale tradiției, dar se lovește uneori de
un zid dur. Dacă, de exemplu, încerc să le explic adolescenților,
tinerilor, taina muncii tăcute la câmp, la seceră și la coasă, a
țăranilor de odinioară, horele din sat, doina și jalea, nuntitul și
prohoditul etc. îmi dau seama că ei nu au cum să înțeleagă toate astea.
Motivele sunt legate, firește, de globalizare, de accelerarea ritmului
Planetei, de modernizare.
Sunt însă și motive mai profunde. Generația mea, chiar dacă nu a fost
toată rurală, a avut șansa să mai miroasă pământul reavăn, să simtă
fânul proaspăt cosit, să vadă curgând sudoarea muncii fizice, sub soare
dogoritor ori sub vânt și viscol.
În plus, a mai avut o șansă, anume aceea de a se împărtăși din toată
experiența universală prin lecturi solide și prin dascăli de excepție,
dăruiți școlii și națiunii. Azi toate acestea s-au pierdut. Zestrea
omenirii zace în cărți, pe care nu le mai citește nimeni. Necazul este
că nu se citesc integral nici e-book-urile sau cărțile electronice. Prin
urmare, dacă nu luăm măsuri, riscăm să devenim toți otova, cu mințile
odihnite și goale, instrumente bune de manipulat de către forțe
malefice, care stăpânesc comunicarea și care au puterea să ne îndrepte
pe calea dorită de ele.
Din păcate, întâlnim foarte des un sentiment de respingere față de țară,
mai ales atunci când vorbim de civilizație. Este justificat acest
sentiment?
Sentimentul despre care vorbiți este rezultatul acelorași manipulări.
Legarea solidă de țară, sentimentul apartenenței la familie, la
comunitate, la națiune și la credința oamenilor țării este primejdios
pentru globaliști, pentru că îi face pe oameni profunzi, critici,
circumspecți, fideli. Românii sunt un popor deschis și primitor și s-au
lăsat ușor antrenați în acest proces dirijat, de „deschidere” fără
limite.
Pe de altă parte, noi am trecut prin mai bine de patru decenii de
comunism, care a fost demonizat pe bună dreptate și care ne-a făcut să
ne simțim vinovați, înjosiți, victime etc. Nu-i vorbă, nici în trecut nu
am dus-o foarte bine, aici, ca „enclavă latină la porțile Orientului”,
bântuită de inamici, jefuită de regate și imperii orgolioase, ciuntită
mereu de oameni și teritorii. Țara nu a prea fost a noastră, pentru că
ne-o luaseră alții demult și ne-am refăcut-o cu greu.
Pentru că nu am fost în rând cu marile puteri și nici nu am gustat din
sentimentul elitei, ne-am lăsat ușor amăgiți și ne-am dezgustat de noi
înșine. A respinge țara înseamnă a te respinge pe tine, pentru că ce
este țara fără oameni, fără români?
Or, noi nu găsim nimic mai bun să facem decât să hulim România așa de
mult cum nici un inamic străin nu reușește! Firește, ne apucă uneori
remușcările și dorul, ne ceartă parcă părinții și bunicii deveniți
țărână, ne mustră icoanele din „casa dinainte” sau de pe tâmpla
bisericii, dar ne „revenim” repede și nu facem nimic ca să îndreptăm
situația.
Dimpotrivă, în loc să ne purtăm crucea și să spunem străinilor cine
suntem și de ce vorbim românește, de ce credem în Dumnezeu colindând și
de ce mai strângem fânul doinind, ne declarăm altceva decât români și
trecem mai departe. Sunt neamuri mult mai oropsite și mai umilite de
soartă decât al nostru, dar nu-și declină identitatea, originea,
tradiția.
