Dai în mine, dai în fabrici și uzine. Ambasadorul SUA afirmă că naționalismul economic românesc și contestarea practicilor multinaționalelor sunt o formă de antisemitism!
Ambasadorul SUA la București, Hans Klemm, a lansat un avertisment dur la adresa României în ceea ce privește consecințele negative pe care le poate avea exprimarea, în mod public, a ideilor antisemite sau împotriva companiilor multinaționale.
Într-un discurs rostit cu prilejul Zilei Naționale de Comemorare a Holocaustului, diplomatul american a spus că „recrudescența acestei retorici antisemite, însoțite de transformările economice cauzate de globalizare, constituie un teren fertil pentru cei care încearcă să manipuleze opinia publica și să îndepărteze România de temelia principiilor ei euro-atlantice”,
“Cei care se opun liberalismului și îmbrățișează naționalismul economic caută din nou să îi atace și să îi demonizeze pe evreii din Europa și pe cei din afara ei. Fac acest lucru direct, prin manifestații naționaliste și vandalizarea memorialelor și a cimitirelor. Dar fac acest lucru și indirect, prin atacarea companiilor multinaționale și prin aluzii la pretinse și presupus infame legături evreiești ale unor întreprinderi legitime cu scopul de a alimenta animozitate și de a prezenta concluzii funeste. Recrudescența acestei retorici antisemite, însoțite de transformările economice cauzate de globalizare, constituie un teren fertil pentru cei care încearcă să manipuleze opinia publica și să îndepărteze România de temelia principiilor ei euro-atlantice”, a declarat ambasadorul Hans Klemm la Memorialul Holocaustului din București.
„Această animozitate este agravată de răspândirea diverselor scenarii false, „fake news”, care își croiesc drum dinspre Internet în discursul public. Asemenea scenarii au o singură finalitate, un singur scop: să ne dividă, să ne slăbească instituțiile și să ne polarizeze societățile. Politicienii și jurnaliștii care cedează tentației de a folosi aceste scenarii o fac probabil din oportunism, simțind că există șansa unui câștig pe termen scurt chiar dacă ei nu cred în mod necesar în respectivele scenarii. Dar acest oportunism este în cele din urmă devastator. Iar prin intermediul acestuia se realizează de fapt opera dușmanilor noștri, a celor care încearcă sa ne facă rău”, a mai spus Klemm în discursul său.
Ambasadorul SUA consideră că s-ar putea ca „la mijloc sa fie aripa marginală, xenofobă și rasistă a extremei drepte. S-ar putea să fie influența nocivă a Rusiei. S-ar putea să fie cei care încearcă să divizeze comunitățile prin agitații de un naționalism economic strident. Toți caută să ne slăbească parteneriatele și orientarea noastră transatlantică pentru propriile scopuri ostile”.
De menționat că afirmațiile lui Hans Klemm vin la câteva zile după ce fostul ministru al Comunicațiilor, Gabriel Sandu, a depus un denunț la DNA în care acuză compania americană Microsoft și pe fostul președinte Traian Băsescu de constituire de grup infracțional organizat. În denunț, fostul ministru îi acuză pe foștii ambasadori americani Nicholas Frank Taubman și Mark H. Gitenstein de trafic de influență și instigare la trafic de influență.
