Videoclip realizat de Banksy despre dezastrul din Fâşia Gaza – IMAGINI surprinse la 6 luni de la finalul războiului
Celebrul artist stradal britanic Banksy a publicat, joi, un mini-documentar pe site-ul său, banksy.co.uk, în care arată condiţiile dezastruoase din Gaza la şase luni de la finalul războiului dintre conducătorii islamişti ai Hamas, care controlează enclava, şi Israel.
Israelul a fost criticat pentru numărul mare de decese în rândurile civililor palestinieni din timpul conflictului, inclusiv de Statele Unite ale Americii, principalul său aliat. Acea destinaţie este Fâşia Gaza, despre care filmul, folosind mai mult text decât explicaţii audio, spune că este “apărată de vecini prietenoşi”, referindu-se la Israel, care păzeşte graniţele maritime şi de pe uscat, în afara unei treceri de frontieră către Egipt, în prezent închisă. Rezultatul este că în Gaza se poate intra doar prin intermediul unuia dintre tunelurile prezentate.
Filmul prezintă şi soldaţi israelieni patrulând, dând impresia că se află în Gaza. Trupele acţionează de fapt la punctul de control Qalandia din Cisiordania, cunoscut pentru pictura murală înfăţişându-l pe Yasser Arafat, care este prezentată în videoclipul lui Banksy.

Filmuleţul se încheie cu un mesaj scris pe un zid: “Dacă ne spălăm pe mâini de conflictul dintre cei puternici şi cei fără nicio putere suntem de partea celor puternici, nu rămânem neutri”.
