Studiu NASA: Conflictul dintre săraci și bogați va arunca civilizația în colaps
Un studiu finanţat de Centrul Spaţial Goddard al NASA menţioneză că civilizaţia industrială în care trăim ar putea ajunge într-o fază de colaps, privind situaţia din punct de vedere istoric şi statistic. Problemele ar fi consumul de resurse şi inechitatea socială.

“Surplusul acumulat nu este distribuit echilibrat în societate, dar e controlat de o elită. Marea masă, cea care produce bogăţia, are alocată doar o porţiune mică, sub nivelul de subzistenţă”, mai arată studiu. Potrivit acestuia, reflectând la realitatea lumii de astăzi, la avansul tehnologiei şi eficientizarea agriculturii şi industriei, colapsul este un lucru dificil de evitat. “Civilizaţia este pe o linie stabilă, dar chiar şi dacă ar fi o situaţie optimă, Elitele consumă prea mult, iar Masele ar putea fi condamnate la foamete, ceea ce duce la colapsul societăţii”, se arată într-unul dintre scenariile NASA.
Studiul finanţat ce centrul Goddard arată că Elitele nu vor simţi prea devreme această problemă a societăţii, deoarece ea va veni încet, încet dinspre masele de oameni.
