De ce a renunţat Republica Moldova la cererea de aderare la UE
Actuala guvernare a renunţat la ideea depunerii cererii de aderare la Uniunea Europeană pentru a împiedica Bruxellesul să intervină în scandalul legat de Banca de Economii. Depunerea unei cereri de aderare, indiferent de finalitate, ar oferi UE pârghii suplimentare pentru a interveni în procesele interne din Moldova. Concluziile se conţin în studiul semnat de expertul de la IDIS Viitorul, Leonid Litra, transmite Jurnal.md.
„Odată depusă, cererea de aderare ar fi oferit UE un instrument puternic de a interveni în dosare importante în Moldova. (…) Afirmaţia pe ton brutal a preşedintelui PD, Marian Lupu, secondată şi de PLDM prin Valeriu Streleţ, precum că Moldova nu trebuie să depună cererea de aderare pe motiv că va primi un răspuns negativ şi că „trebuie de aplecat urechea la sfaturile celor din Europa” este un semnal clar că Moldova nu doreşte o avansare a relaţiei cu UE”, afirmă expertul de la IDIS Viitorul.
Potrivit expertului, depunerea cererii de aderare la UE şi obţinerea unui rezultat pozitiv este aproape în totalitate dependent de voinţa Chişinăului, care urmează s-o susţină prin reforme concrete în domeniul justiţiei şi luptei împotriva corupţiei, dar şi printr-o anchetă credibilă în dosarul Băncii de Economii.
La începutul acestui an, ex-premierul Iurie Leancă şi vicepremierul Natalia Gherman, dar şi preşedintele Nicolae Timofti au declarat că Moldova va depune cererea de aderare la UE în a doua jumătate a anului 2015.
