De altfel, Strzok a fost Asistentul Adjunctului Direcției de Constraspionaj a FBI.
Strzok a fost eliminat din echipa lui Mueller în iulie, după ce Inspectorul General al Departamentului de Justiție a descoperit schimburile părtinitoare de mesaje cu Page. Ambii au rămas activi în FBI.
