Directorul Institutului Geologic, Ştefan Marincea, acuză compania RMGC că a falsificat baza cartografică pentru a ascunde fracturile terestre din bazinul Văii Corna. El a atras atenţia că pentru o faptă similară, o companie şi-a pierdut licenţa în Canada
Potrivit lui Ştefan Marincea, compania investitoare a viciat şi analiza care vizează existenţa altor elemente chimice valoroase în zona explorată.
„Bazinul aceasta al Văii Corna este plin de fracturi (…). În trei variante prezentate de companie ale hărții, în diferite materiale, în unul sunt falii, în al doilea sunt falii, în al treilea dispar faliile, or o falie este o fractură care afectează scoraţa terestră şi nu dispare aşa de uşor”, a declarat Ștefan Marincea, marți, la audierile din comisia parlamentară pentru Roșia Montană.
„Aceasta este o faptă penală, dar eu nu am bani să mă bat cu avocații acestei companii, pentru că altfel le-aș face o plângere penală, pentru că asta reprezintă un fals în acte, îmi iei baza cartografică şi o modifici”, a afirmat Ștefan Marincea.
El a menționat că în Canada o companie și-a pierdut licența din cauza unui fenomen similar.
Ştefan Marincea a mai spus că modul de prezentare a analizelor de către companie „este viciat” şi că această companie a trişat diluând conţinuturile prin probare neselectivă.
„Susţin cu argumente ştiinţifice că modul de prezentare a analizelor de către companie este viciat. Nu este un organism al statului român care să verifice aceste analize”, a mai spus directorul general al Institutului Geologic Român, care a pledat pentru o lege a serviciului geologic.
„Au venit cu un proiect de Papaua Noua Guinee pentru țara mea”, a acuzat Ștefan Marincea, referindu-se la compania RMGC.
Marincea a fost întrebat de către preşedintele Comisiei Roşia Montană, Darius Vâlcov, despre faptul că Institutul Geologic Român a dat un aviz favorabil pentru acest proiect atunci când institutul era condus de un alt director general. „E un fals grosolan, e o situaţie penală din partea fostului director general. Parchetul s-a autosesizat”, a spus directorul.

El a mai declarat, pentru Mediafax că fostul director general al Institutului Geologic a modificat afirmaţii ale echipei care s-a dus pe teren timp de patru zile. „Raportul Instititului Geologic al României a fost constant împotriva formei actuale a proiectului şi pentru neacordarea avizului de mediu. A fost un hiatus pe care îl vom analiza, când fostul director general a modificat afirmaţii din echipa care s-a deplasat pe teren timp de patru zile, timp în care nu se pot cartografia geologic, investiga 363 de hectare. Deci nu se putea investiga pe baza unei excursii de patru zile că nu există fracturi şi fisuri sub acel uriaş bazin de decantare”, a explicat Marincea.
El le-a spus parlamentarilor din Comisia specială privind Roşia Montană că preşedintele Agenţiei Naţionale pentru Resurse Minerale „nu este corect informat” şi că prin procedeul ales de companie „toate celelalte elemente se vor pierde în şlamul cianurat”.

Marincea a mai afirmat că proiectul este „de nota cinci” şi că ar trebui modificat substanţial şi adaptat la practicile europene.
