Petrom, companie cumpărată în 2004 de OMV de la statul român cu numai 669 de milioane de euro, a obţinut de la privatizare şi până în prezent profituri cumulate de 5,55 miliarde de euro. Ieri, societatea a raportat un câştig net de 4,82 miliarde de lei (1,091 miliarde de euro) pentru anul trecut, în creştere cu 22% faţă de cel din 2012, şi venituri de 24,18 miliarde de lei (5,47 de miliarde de euro), în scădere cu 8%. Astfel, marja de profit a Petrom este de 19,93%. Petrom a contribuit astfel cu jumătate la profitul OMV, deşi veniturile grupului austriac au fost de 42,4 miliarde de euro, adică de peste 7 ori mai mari decât ale companiei româneşti. OMV controla la finele anului trecut rezerve dovedite de petrol şi gaze de 1.131 milioane barili echivalent petrol, din care 728 milioane barili echivalent petrol la Petrom. Adăugând şi rezervele probabile, OMV are acces la 1.916 milioane barili echivalent petrol, din care 1.025 milioane reprezintă rezervele Petrom. Dacă în domeniul producţiei a existat o creştere de 1%, Petrom are dificultăţi în privinţa gazelor naturale şi a electricităţii,
din cauza scăderii cererii interne. Consumul de gaze al României a scăzut cu 8%, iar importurile cu 50%, a anunţat Mariana Gheorghe, directorul general al Petrom, în principal din cauza reducerii cererii din industrie, dar şi a vremii calde. Situaţia este asemănătoare şi în domeniul energiei, unde consumul din România a scăzut cu 5%, iar preţurile au scăzut pe bursa energiei cu 28%. La carburanţi, aceeaşi poveste: scădere cu 2%, dacă adunăm, pe lângă România, şi vânzările din Serbia, Bulgaria şi Moldova, unde Petrom deţine o reţea de benzinării. Super-acciza scade consumul Mariana Gheorghe a declarat că din momentul privatizării Petrom a reinvestit 10 miliarde de euro. Şi în acest an compania are programat un miliard de euro pentru investiţii. Compania a mai anunţat că anul trecut a virat la bugetul de stat 10 miliarde de lei reprezentând taxe, contribuţii şi dividende. Pe de altă parte, Andreas Matje, directorul
financiar al Petrom, a declarat că societatea va plăti între 70 şi 100 de milioane de dolari pentru „taxa pe stâlp“. El a adăugat că taxa se va aplica şi rafinăriei Arpechim, chiar dacă este închisă. Impozitul pe construcţiile speciale reprezintă 1,5% din valoarea contabilă a tuturor construcţiilor existente în patrimoniu. În privinţa accizei suplimentare de 7 eurocenţi pe fiecare litru de carburant, pe care Guvernul vrea să o introducă de la 1 aprilie, Mariana Gheorghe a afirmat că va determina scăderea vânzărilor de benzină şi motorină cu 1-3%. Renegocierea redevenţelor, subiectul anului Redevenţele pe care le plăteşte Petrom sunt subiectul arzător al anului. Compania plăteşte acum un procent situat între 3,5% şi 13% din valoarea producţiei, nivel pe care statul nu a putut să-l modifice din 2004 încoace.
